Will They or Will They Not Cheat?

Sunday, March 9th, 2008

By Angela Renee Have you ever told your partner or spouse how you would feel if you found out they had been cheating? Maybe your spouse or partner will never cheat on you! Are would they? Ok, maybe they want cheat. But you must face the fact that your spouse or partner will be tempted with the “grass is greener on the other side” especially after all the responsibilities of parenthood have set in and things are not so carefree anymore. And you will be faced with that same temptation unless both of you have suddenly become really, really an eye sore. Who knows? They may be attracted to the same thing you find attractive about your spouse or partner in the beginning and now! By realizing this now, depending on the type of relationship you are in, not only can you make this one of the healthy topics to discuss but you can possibly get back some of what was lost. You know before all of the many responsibilities set into everyone’s life. Cheating causes so much pain and grief and if you have not experienced it firsthand, take a look around - It affects everyone! Saying no requires at times the willpower to walk - no run away, the action to back up what you say and truly caring about your partner or spouse feelings. Do not become obsessed with this topic but talk about things like this before it happens. Talk about how the both of you would feel and what would cause the both of you to entertain the thoughts of cheating. Would it involve something physical like not receiving enough affection or something emotional like not feeling appreciated or loved? You want facts that will help you both understand what your needs are so you’ll NOT look elsewhere. We seek love and acceptance in our society and this does not change once we enter relationships. We want it regardless of the changes we grow through with our body and spirit. So when we do not feel we are getting these things from the ones we love, we seek it from others! If you do not want to make the topic about the two of you just yet, talk about cheating in relationships in general before the opportunity presents itself to either of you. Cleaning & Finishing Metal Castings In The Hobby Workshop

Friday, March 7th, 2008

By Colin Croucher Every metal casting you produce will require some kind of finishing operation before it becomes a useful, serviceable casting. Finishing of castings can be a laborious job if carried out entirely by hand, luckily for the home metal craftsman or woman (yes. there are a few women who are involved with metal casting) there are a number of very handy tools which can be used to great effect to remove flashings, fins, sprues, risers & dags, which remain after the casting operation. The number one tool in the workshop is a reliable 4″ angle grinder, they can be fitted with a coarse-grained resinoid grinding wheel which are known to remove aluminium, bronze or brass metal at a rapid rate with out clogging up. The 4″ angle grinder will also eccept an abrasive metal cut-off wheel, which is used to cut off the sprues and risers from bronze or aluminium castings. The big 9″ angle grinders can also be used to cut & grind any large size castings. Angle grinders big & small can also be fitted with the abrasive flap type wheel which are a multi layered grit wheel. Flap wheel finishing will give a very smooth lustrous finish on any type of metal, good quality flap wheels can be expensive to buy, they remove metal quickly and will last quite a long time, so they are worth the money. Another machine metal finishing worth the expense, is the beltlinishing tool, of which there are several different brands available. They are supplied with belts ranging from coarse to fine, a handy feature of the machine is the ability to carry out a quick belt change. Finishing and preparation of a number of castings can be done in a very short time using this type of machine, the linishing machine is attached to a one horsepower bench grinder, and once you install and use one; you will wonder how you ever did without it. They are expensive to buy, but as you do more & more castings, you will need a faster & better finishing system for your castings. A very handy linishing belt is the scotch brite belt, this belt will give a beautiful finish on any type of metal, cast or other wise. Now, we are not advocating for you to rush out tomorrow to spend a sqillion on new tools, as quite a bit of excellent finishing can be achieved with normal hand tools. There is not much sense in spending a large amount of money if you don’t have a great need. But you’ll know when it’s time to buy some good power tools, ifyou don’t already own some. And of course, once you finish with all of the initial grindingand cleaning, you may want to give the item a high polish.A calico cloth buffing wheel mounted on your bench grinder, and some special buffing compound will put a mirror finish onyour unique casting creation. And don’t forget to also buy and wear a pair of eye safety goggles, or wear a full face shield, plus a pair of thick leather gloves to protect your hands & fingers. Resinoid and abrasive cut off wheels throw a huge amount of hot particles of sharp splinter shaped metal…which could inflict VERY serious injury to your eyes and skin. Metal craft hobbies can provide a lot of enjoyment but you need to be careful at the same time. Col Croucher. How to Rate a Treatment for Cellulite

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

By Craig Weaver Many people are confused with the large amount of products that are on the market as a treatment for cellulite and that is completely normal to be honest. It can confuse the largest part of the population when you consider the fact that most people are not up on all the latest research. When a new product comes out there is always a lot of media attention given to it and people will usually get the full scoop about the product within a short time. But, there are those products that are released with little or no media attention and that means that the general public will not be able to get the information without a little or a lot of research. This is not something that most people would enjoy doing so they are instead going to take the product at face value. Let’s take cellulite contouring cream as an example. People for the most part are not sure of what this is and it received very little in the way of information and media attention. Well the fact is that it worked very well for a lot of people until it was discovered that some of the companies that were making the product were not putting in it what they said they were. This caused a stir in the world and a lot of people were in a lot of trouble real quick. This is how a lack of consumer knowledge can really have an adverse effect on the way that a product is rated. If you are not careful and do your homework the you could end up with a treatment for cellulite that is nothing more than water and saw dust to be honest. There are several watch dog groups that seek to end this kind of fraud and they have the very best in information on how to rate a treatment for cellulite. If you are looking for a cellulite contouring cream then you should stick with the most reputable companies that offer the best guarantee and the money back if you are not satisfied. This tells you that the treatment for cellulite is rather good and they are sure that you are going to be happy and see the results that they promise. Only through information can you protect yourself as a consumer and make sure that the frauds stay out of the way. How To Research Alternative Treatments Before Using Them - Heartburn Example

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

By Vasily Nezabudkin If you go to any health store you will find lots of different pills, powders and liquids which promise you to cure your condition in 3 to 20 days. All of them have a text in small letters “This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease”. This text says it all. There is no proof that this drug helped anyone. It is just unverified sellet’s claim that it did. Most products in that category are usually produced by mixing quite random harmless ingredients and putting them into pill or powder. After that it is just a matter of good marketing to successfully sell it. Since there are lots of people on the market which are suffering from specific condition they will do anything to find a cure. I had a time when I suffered from very serious heartburn. I had it day and night almost non stop. Everything was causing it and I thought there is no way back. Conventional medicines helped little. So I turned to alternative treatments. I just went to the nearby store and asked what is the best for my condition. Sales person pointed me to large shelf of alternative drugs with nice shiny labels. I looked at every single one of them and each was promising me an instant cure in several days. I decided that I finally saved and purchased several which I liked the most. But after trying 3 or 4 different “magic” pills for several months I finally understood that it is pure waste of time and money and stopped looking to these shelves in the nearby health stores. Later I calculated that I spend ~200-300$ on these alternative drugs. That’s how this business is done. You purchase it once - it doesn’t work and you go away. But your money are already spent. Even if this product has a nice return policy it doesn’t mean that you will get your money back. Often you just don’t have time or desire to deal with it. And there will be lots of people like me who will go and try these so called “drugs” just to find out that they don’t work. One of this article goals is to help you avoid spending to much money on something that’s not worth it. I won’t go through all formulas available in the health store since there are to many of them. I want to give you some basic guidance how to research specific condition and alternative approaches to treat it. - First of all you should be aware about “placebo” effect. If you take some new pill which promises to cure your condition you usually hope that it will help you. And your body reacts to this by making you feel better for some time. But this is not because your condition is gone but because you’re excited about the fact that your problem may be over in a couple of days. So if you’re taking any alternative drug wait for a month and see if improvement will stay there. If it isthen it really helps otherwise it was just a placebo effect. - Second you should always do your research before you purchase anything. Just simply typing drug name in the Google could save you lots of time and energy. Also consider typing queries like: “drug name” review”drug name” side effects”drug name” negative”drug name” problems - If you want to see if there is any scientific proof of this drug effect you should go to scientific paper search site like scholar.google.com and search for your drug name. If you see some research papers related to the drug don’t hesitate to click on it - you don’t have to read the whole paper to understand anything - just take a look at the summary it will give you a lot of useful info. Expungement of Criminal Convictions in California

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

By Matthew Ruff California Law permits a person to withdraw his or her guilty or no contest plea after a person has successfully completed probation. In order for a person to qualify for this “expungement” relief he or she must satisfy a number of conditions. Most importantly is the condition that they complete their probationary grant successfully. This means that they must pay all fines and fees ordered by the Court, and all restitution must be paid to any victims. The individual must not have violated the terms of their probation in any way, for example the person seeking the expungement must not have sustained any new conviction or have been arrested for any new offense while on probation. The next condition is that they had not been convicted for any offense excluded by statute that bars an expungement of the case. The offenses commonly barred are sex offenses listed under 290 of the Penal Code such as child molestation. Notably, the California Appellate Court ruled in December of 2006 that crimes of “attempt” such as attempted child molestation can be expunged under California Law. Which offenses fall under the exceptions are limited and an Attorney should be consulted to ensure the particular crime qualifies. Once the conditions have been met, the next step is to file the petition with the proper Court requesting that the conviction be expunged from the defendant’s record. Most Courts require fees be paid to file the legal petition, in addition the petition must be in the proper legal form and must be served on the appropriate agencies in order to be reviewed by the Judge. A Lawyer should be retained to be sure the petition for expungement is filed correctly. Once the petition for an expungement has been granted by the Court, the person can, in most cases, state that he or she has not been convicted of a crime for purposes of private employment. In effect the case will have been dismissed. For more information, please refer to Penal Code 1203.4. Matthew J. Re-Stocking the Tackle Box for Finesse Fishing

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

By John Packer The macho men of the world seem to be spitting out the phrase “bigger is always better” like it is going out of style. In many situations they may have a good argument, but I have found that some who truly love fishing are discovering a new way to fish; an equipment downsize. Sure there are many situations where big fishing equipment is appropriate and will probably lead you to more fish in the boat. However, fishing’s popularity is growing and space on the water is becoming a little more cramped. The fish are starting to take notice too. Some of these fish have seen it all from us fishermen and they are not being fooled anymore. In heavily fished areas the best fishermen have developed a new technique for success; Finesse Fishing. I can hear the screams of fishermen worldwide, “What in the heck is finesse fishing and why do I want anything to do with something that has the words finesse and fishing in the same sentence?” Well, like it or not some waters are being fished so heavily that the good fish aren’t biting anymore. They have seen the tricks employed by the common fishermen and are ready for a better show. That is why we need to alter our approach a bit to fool the fish onto our lures again. Finesse fishing, in its simplest explanation, is just downsizing our equipment to throw a new look at an old fish. The easiest way to convert your game is to buy smaller and lighter versions of your current equipment. Let’s start with the rod. To get started on your finesse venture try buying a light to medium light action spinning rod. Buy something inexpensive to get the feel of a lighter action rod. With a little experience you will develop a preference for something a bit lighter, heavier, or lose interest in finesse fishing altogether. This way you can avoid wasting money on your first finesse purchase. Many fishermen say they feel like they are re-learning to fish. This new style could add some excitement to a day on the water and give you an excuse to buy more fishing gear. In fact finesse fishing is catching on quick and as a result many manufacturers have devoted a portion of their production of rods just for finesse fishing. Don’t stop with just the rod; downsizing the reel in your setup will make a drastic change in how you fish and more importantly how many fish you catch. Some of the small reels available these days are set up nicely to carry a lighter line, like the one used by finesse fishermen. When shopping for a small reel, treat it just as you would be shopping for a large reel, except in a smaller format. The most important change for a traditional fisherman trying to convert to finesse is in the line. When I first got into finesse fishing I got lost in all of the different options available on the market. Luckily a friend of mine was quite knowledgeable and one of his best pieces of advice was this, “When choosing a line stick to the traditional monofilament. Trust me.” Well I did trust him and have been happy since. The reason he didn’t like to use a braided line is because it floats, and floating ruins the function of a floating lure. I tried a braided line a couple times and I can add this additional word of guidance: mono lines tend to blend in underwater and help the bait look natural versus a braided line. Another consideration is line weight. Any line between six and ten pound test will work, and with a bit of experience on the water you will develop a preferred test weight. Some situations will require a six pound line to fool the most hesitant fish. Choosing a lure is another necessity for any finesse fisherman. Fortunately there are hundreds of different lures available that fit finesse setups. The lures you choose will depend entirely on personal preference and necessity based on the waters you tend to fish. Be sure to buy a few different styles and test them out; some fish will respond better than others to particular lures. While some may still contend that bigger is in fact always better, sometimes it is worth it to mix things up. Try finesse fishing to add a new unique aspect to your fishing arsenal and increase your chances of going home a happy fisherman! Natural Hair Care Recipes That Add Volume And Strength To Your Hair

Sunday, March 2nd, 2008

By Biljana Drake Natural hair care is what you need to turn to if your hair has been excessively dyes, bleached, or damaged in any way. Before you start making some of these natural hair care products, consider these hair care tips: Make sure you are using the right shampoo. Always get a shampoo that is suited for your hair type. A shampoo for dry hair might smell better, but it doesn’t mean that it will fit your hair’s needs. Change the shampoo often. Hair gets immune to a certain shampoo if the shampoo has been used for too long. Try a new one, see if you notice any changes. Apply the hair packs and balms once or twice a week. The more nourishment you provide, the more heathy the hair will be. Avoid using a hair dryer. It makes the hair brittle and dries the scalp out which may lead to dendruff. Trim your hair regularly. Remove the damaged ends. Combined with homemade hair conditioners that are prepared within minutes, the effects that you will get will be multiplied. Banana hair pack Ingredients: 1/2 banana 1 tablespoon of lemon juice 1 tablespoon of honey Mash until creamy. Hair has to be dry to do this. Leave it on your hair and wash out after 20 minutes. After that, use a shampoo. Milk based Hair Balm It is simple as this: after you wash your hair, wash it with some milk and leave on for about 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. It helps bring back the softness and natural shine. Sour Cream Hair Pack Ingredients: 2 teaspoons of sour-cream 1/2 teaspoon of wheat germ oil 1 tablespoon lemon juice Mix it all together, apply to hair and rinse off after 10-15 minutes. Olive oil for shiny hair Ingredients: 1 teaspoon of olive oil 1 egg Mix the two and apply on hair. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and wash off using warm water, then shampoo. Egg white for oily hair 1 egg white (more if your hair is thick or long). Beat the egg and simply apply on dry hair. Leave it on until it is dry and crusty. Wash off with warm water and shampoo. Doing this a couple of times a week will help reduce the oiliness and remove the excess oil. Hair pack for damaged hair Ingredients Juice from freshly squeezed lemon 2 egg yolks 1 egg white 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients, apply on hair and let it rest for 10 minutes. After that, shampoo and rinse off. For soft and silky hair Ingredients 3 tablespoons of olive oil 2 tablespoons of honey Mix it all well, apply on hair. Wrap the hair with a towel or shower cap and let it rest for 15 minutes. Shampoo and rinse the hair. Increase hair volume Ingredients 1 tablespoon of vinegar 1 tablespoon of honey 1/2 cup of warm water Spray bottle - pharmacy stores usually sell them for a couple of dollars, get a smaller one. Mix the ingredients in a bottle and shake wellAfter you wash the hair with shampoo, let it dry a bit. When it is damp, spray the mix you have prepared.Massage the scalp so the liquid gets absorbed betterDon’t rinse the hair off, simply let it dry For shiny and soft hair Ingredients 1 tablespoon of coconut oil 3 tablespoons of sour cream Mix the ingredients and apply them on hair.Wrap a towel around it and let it rest for 30 minutesShampoo and rinse off well Grease control There is a simple way to get rid of greasy hair. Every time you shampoo your hair, mix a little bit of freshly squeezed lemon juice in. Shake the bottle well (you could use a smaller bottle for this purpose) and shampoo the hair. Rinse off well. This way, you will control the oiliness of the scalp and also, if you have blondish hair, you will actually help keep it light longer.
